Cameron Gray has years of experience in the area of Immigration & Visas.

He is an ex-Australian Immigration Officer and worked at the Australian Consulate General in Auckland for over 10 years.

Cameron is an Australian Registered Migration Agent. He is also a New Zealand Licensed Immigration Adviser & holds a Graduate Certificate Level 7 in Immigration Advice.

Joanna has over 10 years of experience in immigration as an Immigration Manager at Immigration New Zealand

She has extensive knowledge in policies and procedures in migrant recruitment. With her experience in immigration and global mobility, she has acquired useful skills in strategic leadership, and management of customer service delivery and process improvement.

Yazmin Ng

LICENSED NZ IMMIGRATION ADVISER (PROVISIONAL)

Yazmin Ng holds a Bachelor of Global Studies in Human Rights and Politics from the University of Auckland and completed her Graduate Diploma in New Zealand Immigration Advice in 2023.


She began her journey with VisaAide as an immigration team administrator to learn the ropes, and is now a key member of the advisory team. Yazmin applies her understanding of complex global issues to help clients navigate New Zealand’s immigration processes. Her adaptability and keen focus on evolving immigration policies ensure she delivers informed, up-to-date guidance to every client.

Elsa Bi

LICENSED NZ IMMIGRATION ADVISER

Elsa brings a broad mix of real-world experience and empathy to her role at People Inc. Originally from China, Elsa made New Zealand home in 2003 and has worked in language education, hospitality, manufacturing, construction and recruitment.

She has experience in many of the same industries where new migrants find their feet, giving her a real understanding of the journeys people take to build a life here.

Elsa is a Licensed Immigration Adviser with over 10 years of experience in the field. She holds a Bachelor of Psychology from AUT, a Postgraduate Diploma in Industrial-Organisational Psychology from Massey, and a Master’s in Human Resources from AUT. She brings her practical insight together with strong academic grounding, and finds it deeply rewarding to help people navigate the visa process and move one step closer to their dreams.

Elsa lives in Auckland with her husband, son, dog, and axolotl. Whether she’s guiding clients through immigration steps or sharing a moment of celebration when a visa is approved, Elsa is all about people: supporting, empowering, and making their journey smoother.

Lesley is originally from the UK. Having been through the immigration process herself she has real empathy for our clients. Having had many years of experience in administration 

Lesley is responsible for keeping the VisaAide team running.

Xiao Ping

Xiao Ping

ADMINISTRATOR

Xiao Ping brings over 24 years of experience in immigration, having served as an immigration officer with the Australian Department of Home Affairs.

She worked at the Australian Consulate General in Auckland for more than 18 years and for 6 years at the Consulate in Guangzhou, China. Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, Xiao Ping is a valuable asset to the VisaAide team, where she supports administrative functions and assists with a variety of immigration matters.

Tanya Gray

DIRECTOR, PEOPLE INC

Tanya Gray is a Director of People Inc group which includes RecruitNZ and ConsultingHQ, and provides services to VisaAide clients in the specialised areas of recruitment

Tanya is a member of the Institute of Directors, she has a BA, a Certificate In Small Business Management and Money Management and has taught Small Business Management to entrepreneurs. Tanya is accredited in Career Development and Psychometric profiling and is completing her Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources.

Being part of the team and understanding where the business has been, where it is now and where it is heading is crucial for the HR strategy we implement, as is having great relationships with all of the members of her clients’ businesses.

Working as an HR partner is incredibly rewarding, we get to play an integral role in these businesses assisting to achieve growth targets and identifying and improving efficiencies. Managing people is a complex task at the best of times and coaching our clients on how to best approach situations and seeing results is wonderful!

Emily holds a Master of Arts in Literature from Victoria University and brings over a decade of experience as a marketing generalist. 

She specialises in copywriting and on-page content, and oversees everything from strategy to execution to keep our marketing focused, consistent, and effective.

Amy’s strong background in sales support has equipped her with excellent coordinator skills and a practical, organised approach to her work.

Earlier in her career, she worked in recruitment, both in-house and with agencies, which gives her a valuable perspective on how to support teams and streamline processes.

As Team Co-ordinator & Sales Support, Amy plays a key role in keeping the team organised and on track. Her structured, methodical approach and ability to manage a busy workload make her a steady presence behind the scenes, helping others focus on their core work.

She enjoys being part of a collaborative team and finds real satisfaction in contributing to outcomes that benefit both New Zealand businesses and the skilled people building new lives here in New Zealand.

In 2023, Chen’s work in marketing won the Authentic and Inspiring Online Presence Award at the Australian Tradies in Business Excellence Awards. Her work is known for its strong strategy, clear storytelling, and consistent execution. She has also received multiple accolades, including Employee of the Year, Star Employee of the Month, and Top Trainee. Chen brings a balance of creativity and strategy to every project, helping brands communicate with clarity, purpose, and heart.
